This page explains how to request deletion of your Aira (Urban Health Monitor) account and the data associated with it. Aira is developed by Aira Health.
An Aira account is optional. Most of your data is stored only on your device and is removed automatically when you uninstall the app or clear its storage. If you enabled cloud backup (by signing in), you can request full deletion of your account and cloud data using the steps below.
All data created without an account stays on your device. To remove it immediately:
This permanently deletes your local health profile, daily steps, tracked runs, and app preferences from your device.
If you signed in and enabled cloud backup, your data is also stored in our cloud (Google Firebase). To request deletion of your account and all associated cloud data:
We will process your request and confirm by email. Account and cloud data deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account (Firebase Authentication record) | Deleted |
| Health profile stored in the cloud (name, age, conditions, lifestyle, etc.) | Deleted |
| Daily step totals and tracked runs stored in the cloud | Deleted |
| Local on-device data | Removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage |
| Anonymous community pollution reports | Kept. These contain only a location, type, city, and time - no name or account identifier - so they cannot be linked back to you and are retained as anonymous public map data. |
Backups maintained by our cloud provider for security and disaster recovery may persist for a short additional period before being overwritten, but are not used after your deletion request is completed.
